what if we made accounting for businesses actually approachable?

My Role: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT, COPY, SCRIPTING
Despite what some might say, there’s nothing inherently boring about accounting. (Have you seen The Accountant? There — that’s all the proof you need.)
But seriously, accounting makes the business world go ‘round, and every business leader should understand its basic concepts or at least feel comfortable asking questions about it. Unfortunately, most don’t. And that’s not necessarily the leaders’ fault; accounting has a reputation for being dry, jargon-y, and unapproachable.
My team set out to change that. When we built a new brand for local CPA firm Klein Hall, we hired a young actress as our cheeky spokeswoman, developed a brand voice that’s clear and friendly, and designed an aesthetic that’s clean and approachable.
The bottom line? Klein Hall made business accounting less intimidating and more inviting. As a result, their portfolio continued to grow, and they eventually sold to a larger firm.
